Minibus for our Learners

The Duke of Edinburgh Award programme is an important part of our curriculum; 33 learners completed their Bronze & Silver Awards during the last academic year with a further 25 learners undertaking the programme this year. A minibus primarily for the use of DofE learners will enable us to undertake up to 8 overnight expeditions each year for 7/8 learners on each trip. An electric/hybrid vehicle will help fulfil Landmarks’ long-term plans to reduce its carbon footprint and create a “greener” environment. The cost of the vehicle is in the region of £36,000. Contributions from the College, donations from Charitable Foundations and our in-house Christmas Jumper Day raised over half the amount required – please help us to raise the remainder by completing the “donor” details opposite.
