Landmarks’ Learner Secures Top 8 Finish in UK Horticulture Competition at the WorldSkills Finals in Manchester!

Landmarks Specialist College is delighted to showcase the remarkable accomplishments of Zeek Jenkins, a current learner at Landmarks, who recently participated in the WorldSkills UK National Competition. Zeek competed in the Foundations Skills Horticulture Competition, securing an impressive placement within the top 8 students in the United Kingdom.


The WorldSkills National Competition is a prestigious event that recognises exceptional young talent, featuring students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from across the UK. The competition is a seven-month process including regional heats and intensive training before stepping up to the ultimate test of the National Finals. Students compete for excellence in various disciplines including engineering, digital, manufacturing, creative arts, business, health, and hospitality.


On Friday, November 17, 2023, Zeek participated in the finals held at Oldham College, followed by a memorable awards ceremony at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.


Landmarks Specialist College extends its warmest congratulations to Zeek Jenkins for his remarkable achievement, which serves as a true testament to the diverse talents thriving within Landmarks.
