Year One
Lucy has made fantastic progress during her time at Landmarks, growing in confidence and becoming a positive member of her group. She has developed strong friendships and now regularly spends time with friends outside of college.
One of Lucy’s biggest areas of progress has been travel and accessing the community. She has developed strategies to manage her anxiety when visiting new places and has built the confidence and skills needed to travel more independently.
Lucy has also developed a range of practical skills through opportunities including The Bistro, travel training and taking responsibility for college technology. Her progress and positive attitude were recognised with a Making a Mark Award.
Performing Arts and Music have been particular highlights for Lucy. She has taken part in performances including Alice in Winter Wonderland, RothFest and the Performing Arts Film Festival, giving her opportunities to build her confidence, communication and teamwork skills.
Looking Ahead
Lucy continues to develop the confidence, communication, independence and teamwork skills needed to work towards her future employment goals. Her journey at Landmarks has seen her take on new challenges, build meaningful friendships and become increasingly confident both in college and the wider community.
We are incredibly proud of everything Lucy has achieved and look forward to seeing what she does next!
