Landmarks Specialist College’s popular Netwalking event is back for 2026, bringing together local businesses, partners, and the Wayfinder Work Connect team for another year of meaningful connections at Apperknowle farm.
The first Netwalking event of the year kicked off with a bang in April welcoming a range of new and returning businesses for a morning of networking with a difference.
Combining informal conversation with a guided walk around the farm, the event offered attendees the chance to connect, share ideas, and learn more about the college’s Supported Internship programme.
#NETWALKING2026
Netwalking continues to provide an alternative to traditional networking events, encouraging open conversations in a relaxed, outdoor environment. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to meet the Wayfinder team, hear about the impact of supported internships, and explore how their organisations can get involved in creating employment opportunities for learners.
The event also showcased the college’s farm-to-fork approach, starting the morning right with an all inclusive breakfast.

WayFinder Work Connect plays a key role in supporting learners into employment, working closely with employers to provide tailored placements, job coaching, and ongoing support. Events like Netwalking are an important part of building and strengthening these partnerships.
With a successful first event already complete, Netwalking is set to continue throughout the year, offering more opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate, and make a real difference.
The next Netwalking event is scheduled for May, and businesses interested in attending are encouraged to book early to secure their place.
