Our Life Skills Pathway is designed for learners who have complex and profound needs and who require intensive, specialist education and therapy to establish consistent and effective communication and behavioural strategies that enable them to have greater control over their lives.

Landmarks has access to Speech and Language Therapy as well as Occupational Therapy teams on site, who work collaboratively with Tutors and support teams, families and homes to ensure the skills being developed at college can be transferred to the home.

Every Pathway is different. A Pathway will be designed around an individual’s interests and needs. It will consist of a number of activities that learners are motivated by; learning through fun activities, learners can become more confident with their support team and through embedded practice learners are able to develop essential life skills.

What does the Pathway lead to?
Learners have typically progressed from this Pathway to either a higher level programme or have successfully transferred their new skills into their home.
