Welcome to Landmarks Specialist College. As Principal, I am proud to lead a college that is committed to delivering high quality specialist education for young people aged 16 to 25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

At Landmarks, we are ambitious for every learner. I believe that each young person deserves an individualised programme that builds on their strengths, responds to their needs and prepares them well for adult life. Our pathways are designed to provide the right balance of support, challenge and opportunity so that learners can develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that will make a genuine difference to their lives.

I am proud of the way we work closely with learners and their families to create programmes that are meaningful, relevant and focused on long term outcomes. This includes promoting independence, confidence, communication, community participation and readiness for employment. For many learners, success means becoming more independent and able to lead fuller lives. For others, it means progressing to further education at a higher level or securing employment for the first time. We want every learner to leave Landmarks better equipped for the future and ready to take their next steps with confidence.

The achievements of our learners are at the heart of all we do. I am continually inspired by the progress they make, whether that is growing in independence, continuing their education or moving into employment.
