Landmarks is a thriving, Independent Specialist College for people with learning difficulties and disabilities. Here are just a few of our success stories.
After her success on our Developing Independence Pathway, Lucy progressed to our Employability Pathway, where she undertook a Supported Internship at Greene King.
After dedicating much of her time to learning how to serve various drinks, she can identify the correct glasses for customer orders and pull “the perfect pint“, as quoted by a customer.
In December 2021, Lucy gained Paid Employment.
When Oliver started at Landmarks, he was quiet, reserved, and nervous in new situations.
Oliver started his Supported Internship at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust with the Child Health Department. Landmarks supported him for 2 weeks to settle into this role, within this time he picked up his new tasks well and really impressed the new team.
He secured a part-time role as a clerical officer within the Outpatient and Support Services department.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make our Christmas Jumper Day and Virtual Raffle a lot of fun.
Together we raised £744 which will be used to help provide our Duke of Edinburgh Learners with a new mini-bus.

The Wayfinder Team paid a visit to Ryan today who is a previous Supported Intern.
He gained employment at ETS in April 2019 and has remained in employment since. Recently his hours have been increased and Ryan's gone from working 3 days a week to 4. He also covers for staff when they are off.

Recently we caught up with James, who gained employment at Sainsbury's in 2019, working in the Fresh Produce section. James continues to enjoy his job.
The store manager said that James receives regular positive feedback from his colleagues and customers. He has recently been picking up extra shifts and says that he looks forward to payday. Well done, James!
